Worldcon – readings with Bob Kuhn

Well, Worldcon is almost upon us, and I can’t help gazing wistfully across the Pacific in the direction of Reno, wishing I was able to be there. Luckily, a little piece of me will be – in the form of readings from ‘Samiha’s Song’ and ‘Oracle’s Fire’ – delivered by the wonderful Bob Kuhn. Bob will also be reading from the work of several other TRULY FABULOUS Aussie and Kiwi authors.

There will be two sessions, one on Saturday morning and the other on Sunday afternoon. I strongly recommend them both! They will include excerpts from the work of both up and coming and established antipodean authors, and the names Bob has lined up would have me hurrying there to listen with or without my humble additions. Here’s the schedule as I’ve heard it:

SATURDAY 10 am: Angela Slatter, Kylie Chan, Lisa Hannett, Fiona McIntosh and Mary Victoria.

SUNDAY 2 pm:ย Alan Baxter, Kim Falconer, Helen Lowe, Nicole Murphy and Gillian Polack.

Be there or be square, Reno-ites! ๐Ÿ˜‰

So excited about this. Is it going to be recorded?

    Thank you, Mary!!!!

I know, so am I! Lisa and Angela were talking about some plan to record, but I haven’t heard the latest… worth following up! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Helen Lowe says:

Fabulous of Bob to take this on for we Antipodeans–I really appreciate it!

    • MaryV says:

Truly he doth Rock… Kim suggested those who wish might pool their resources and ask him to record the excerpts at his leisure later, with the right equipment. Good idea, no?
